Martha Amram, Founder and CEO

As a respected leader in energy and economics, Martha founded Ennovationz to help the massive and greatly underserved residential energy efficiency market. An experienced executive, Martha was CEO of Vocomo Software, a voice software company, Chief Economist of PLX Systems, a patent and copyright software company, and co-founder of Glaze Creek Partners, a consulting firm she sold to Navigant Consulting (NYSE: NCI). Martha is the co-author of two books published by the Harvard Business School Press (Value Sweep and Clean Options). Martha is a frequent speaker on residential energy efficiency and business strategy. She is a Senior Fellow of the Milken Institute, where she has written reports on financial innovations for the biotech and cleantech industries. Martha holds a PhD in Applied Economics from MIT's Sloan School of Management.

Steven Ashby, Chief Marketing Officer

Steven is a seasoned business and marketing executive with almost 20 years of professional experience. His experiences include executive roles for technology and consumer companies, including Chief Marketing Officer for Vendare Media (renamed to Connexus), a $100 million revenue online consumer marketing company, Senior Vice President for Product Strategy and Marketing for Idealab's consumer Internet search portfolio company New.net and Chief Marketing Officer for Wishpot.com, a consumer social shopping service as well as seven years in senior management positions in marketing and product management at Microsoft. At Microsoft, Steven received advanced education in marketing from the Kellogg School of Management.

Doug Sauder, Vice President of Operations

Doug's experience as Vice President of Operations for Shea Homes brings both industry experience as well as an exceptional focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence to the company. Doug brings a deep understanding of home construction and systems to the team and oversees our operations including our field teams of Home Energy Consultants and Technicians. Doug has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Elisa Peters, Director of Government and Community Programs

Elisa brings more than 12 years of experience in government relations and community organizing, most recently at Bluewater Network, where she built the coalition that resulted in California's Tailpipe carbon emissions policies. Elisa builds partnerships between Ennovationz and local governments and agencies, community groups, including faith-based organizations, environmentalists and homeowner associations. M.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana.

Ted Dintersmith

A former Managing Director at Charles River Ventures, Ted has a remarkable track record investing in early-stage companies that include 10 IPOs and numerous successful acquisitions. In addition he brings significant experience in business operations, government relations and politics to the team. Recently he was on the National Finance Committee for Barack Obama. Ted holds a PhD in Engineering from Stanford University.

Christine Ervin

As first President & CEO of the U.S. Green Buildings Council, Christine led its growth into a highly influential coalition of 5,000 companies and organizational members, 70 chapters and 50 staff. Over her five-year tenure, the Council launched and cemented wide success for the LEED green building standard and the Greenbuild conference and expo which drew 30,000 attendees last year. From 1993 to 1997, Ervin served as U.S. Assistant Secretary of Energy where she directed nearly $1 billion in annual investments for clean technologies in transportation, buildings, manufacturing and distributed generation and launched numerous initiatives to accelerate sustainable energy markets.

Richard Schmalensee, Director for the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy, MIT Sloan School of Management

Professor Schmalensee served as Dean of MIT Sloan School of Management from 1998 through 2007. He was a member of the President's Council of Economic Advisers and is one of the nation's leading authorities on energy markets and de-regulation. His book (co-authored with Paul Joskow) Markets for Power, was an influential blueprint for the deregulation of electricity markets.

Nalin Kulatilaka, Professor of Management and Finance at Boston University, School of Management

Professor Kulatilaka serves as the Research Director of Boston University Institute for Leading in a Dynamic Economy (BUILDE). He has published extensively in top academic journals as well as influential managerial publications. His book on this topic, Real Options: Managing Strategic Investment in an Uncertain World is published by Harvard Business School Press. Professor Kulatilaka holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Imperial College, London), a S.M. in Decision and Control (Harvard University), and a Ph.D. in Economics/Finance (MIT).

Luke Hohmann, CEO Enthiosys and Innovation Games

Luke is a recognized expert on agile product management of software products and a former senior software product manager at four companies. He is also the author of three books and numerous articles on software product management. He is also a frequent speaker at software and other industry events. Before founding Enthiosys in 2003, Luke was vice president of business development in the U.S. for Aladdin Knowledge Systems; vice president of engineering and product development at Aurigin Systems Inc.; education technical director at ObjectSpace Inc.; and vice president of systems engineering at EDS Fleet Services. Luke graduated magna cum laude with a B.S.E. in computer engineering and an M.S.E. in computer science and engineering from the University of Michigan.

Kim Herrera, CEO, Insight Home Services

Kim is a leader in the residential services space in the Silicon Valley, including home inspection services. Kim's previous experiences include Strategic Franchise Consultant at Frannet of the Bay Area, VP, Operations/Controller at EnterMedia Network Company and Marketing Director at Private Equities.
